Taqueria La Fondita - Tacoma

I drove by Taqueria la Fondita and felt the urge to get some tacos. The staff were very warm to greet me, and answered any questions that I asked. I only live a few minutes away so I expected the quality of the food to stay intact. I was more than happy to have those expectations blown away. The tacos themselves were of high quality, and the meat and toppings were excellent. I also ordered a horchata, and I'm excited to say it was fantastic as well. If you're in a bind and craving Mexican food, this place will not do you wrong. I can't believe it took me this long to visit this place.

This taco truck is a hidden gem for authentic Mexican flavors! Their specialty, tacos de tripa, is an absolute delight. The tripe is perfectly cooked, tender, and bursting with savory goodness. Carnitas are actually fried with nice crisp on pork, salsa has some heat but not overpowering the flavor that fully compliments the pork. Authentic horchata! Best taco truck i have found in washingon (and tried alot) after living in the heart of Mexico for 4 years. Amazing prices! 5 tacos and an horchata for 10.50

Honestly, hands-down, one of the best Mexican spots around! The food was great. I had a torta de birria And un guisado con arroz y frijoles. 10/10 would come here again! The price is definitely worth the food! Customer service was excellent and they are friendly

Amazing! This is one of the best taco trucks in Tacoma! They are located across from the Asian Supermarket in a small parking lot of a computer shop. They cook everything fresh, and it's very fast. The Street Tacos are very authentic (Yes basic, as street tacos should be!) They are seasoned very well. The Chicken enchiladas here are better than ANY STAND ALONE Mexican restaurant in Tacoma. The Torta is always amazing and cooked to perfection! You just pull up park in the small lot or on a side street, and walk up to the covered area and order. I've literally ordered 5-10 items here at once, and everything is ready in like 15 minutes. They are always busy so time it right! Gracias Taqueria La Fondita!
